A rewarding 2026
Following a very tricky start to 2025, when we were forced to close due to Highways England development on the 417 Missing Link project, we reopened in May 2025, much to the delight of our regulars (and the FlyUp team!). A year later, in May 2026, we are attending the So Glos Lifestyle and Community Awards as a Finalist in the Sports Venue of the Year 2026 category and are beyond grateful to our incredible community for supporting us through a very tricky chapter for our bike park. It’s the votes of our community who have got us through to the final and now the last bit is up to the judges. We hope they recognise the journey we’ve been on, particularly since 2024 when we experienced our first forced closure due to the road development

We are featured on Kayak, Cotswold Tourism, Visit Cheltenham, iBikeRide, Trailforks, and in numerous mountain biking publications. We look forward to sharing our 10th birthday celebrations with you all later this summer. The bike park has come a long way since it first opened in 2016. 10 years on, we’ve got multiple new trails, a new dirt jump field, lots of new jumps, a new uplift arrangement, a new café, a new shop and so much more. We’ve got a lot of reasons to share our successes in 2026.

This recent one was written on our Google profile in May 2026, which had us blushing: “The facilities are excellent, everything is well maintained, and the whole park is very well organised. The trail layout is clear and easy to follow, with a really smooth flow throughout the park, which makes it enjoyable and stress-free for both beginners and more experienced riders.
You can tell a lot of thought has gone into the design — everything feels safe, structured, and easy to navigate. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, and it was great to see my daughter having such a fantastic time while building her confidence and skills on the bike.
