The best thing about a private session is that it can be tailor made to focus on exactly what you want to learn and improve. With all of the coaching time dedicated to just you the amount of learning which translates to improvement in your riding is incredible! Have a coaching session on your own or with a group of friends and family *

Need help in choosing the right kind of coaching for you?

Beginner – For Riders who are new to riding bike park trails wanting to learn the techniques required for a fun time at the park.

Intermediate – For riders who can confidently ride the blue trails and are looking to improve their adventure into riding Red Trails.

Advanced – Confident at riding red trails and are considering more advanced techniques such as jumping and drops.

Group Coaching

417 Bike Park are super excited to announce our brand new group coaching packages. With maximum groups of 6 , you and 5 other like minded riders will get a whole 3 hours of coaching with one of our fully qualified coaches. And after your session finishes get to put your new skills to the test with the uplift for the afternoon included in the price ! 

417 Bike Park Basics

Aimed at beginner riders or riders new to the Bike Park way of life, this course will help you develop strong foundations to help progress your riding. The Course will be mainly run on the Blue trails (Blue Raccoon and Cheese Roller).

Some of the key skills included in this course are:

·      Bike Set Up

·      Body Position and Timing

·      Line Choice

·      Braking

·      Cornering

·      Overcoming Trail obstacles

417 Bike Park Intermediate

This course is brilliant for riders looking for the next step. Already confident with the fundamentals of mountain biking you are looking to advance your skill set. Using the Red trails here at the 417 Bike Park (Igneous & Missing Link) you will be working on improving the core skills listed below.

·      Body Position and timing

·      Effective Braking

·      Cornering

·      Line Choice

·      Bunny Hops

·      Steps & Small drops

·      Pumping the trail

·      Carrying speed through rough terrain

417 Airtime

Wondering how they all do it? Wanting to start clocking up some air miles yourself but not sure how to go about it safely?  This course will provide you with everything you need to know to build your technique to get you where you want to be, airborne! This course will be using the jumps at the bottom of the blue trail Cheese Roller. Some of things that you will looking into are:

·      Learning and Understanding the core skills 

·      Proper jumping technique

·      Build your confidence.

·      Smooth and soft landings

This is an advanced riding course, if you are looking to build up to something like this why not try out our 417 Bike Park intermediate Course.

A FULL-FACE HELMET MUST BE WORN FOR THIS COURSE.

417 Mastering Corners

Want to be able to rail turns whether its flat bermed or cambered like the pros? This course will help you build your confidence by teaching you the skills necessary to carry more speed whilst at the same time using less effort. The course will mainly take place on our blue trails, Cheese Roller and Blue Raccoon.

·      Carrying Speed

·      Effective Braking 

·      Pumping and generating speed through corners

·      Finding and Maintaining grip

This is an intermediate course.
