Whats on for Kids ?

Kids MTB Club

We currently have three types of clubs for Kids. Our Kids MTB Skills Club and 417 Flyers run on weekends and ou Club during the school holidays.

Kids MTB Development Groups

MTB Red (For intermediate riders who can confidently ride 417 Bike Park Red Trails) Thursdays and Fridays (Gloucestershire School Holidays). If your child has never ridden 417 Bike Park before, these sessions will not be suitable. It is highly advised that they have experience riding the trails at 417 Bike Park prior to committing to the full day development sessions. These sessions run through most of the Gloucestershire school holidays and are suitable for ages 8-15 years. The cost for the sessions are £62.50 (bikes or helmets not included), running 9am - 4pm and are fully supervised by Flyup DBS staff. The kids will ride their bikes all day on our outdoor trails and we will do our best to try and tire them out for you!! These sessions are perfect for learning the principles and techniques of MTB riding, with elements of coaching to improve young riders MTB skills in groups of up to 8 riders. These are gravity fed downhill trails which is why it is fundamental that the children have ridden confidently at 417 Bike Park previously.

Go-Ride Race Preparaton Sessions for Kids

Go-Ride race preparation, group coaching session for anyone in the Under 7,9, 11 or 16 categories. These will be led by two of our FlyUp team racers.

These 2 hour sessions will be split into two separate groups- Under 7s and 9s, Under 11s and 16s

Admission pass and 1 block of 5 single uplifts to continue practicing their skills for the rest of the day.Anyone under the age of 13 must have an adult on site at all times.

Up to 6 children in a group.

SESSIONS RESTARTING SEPT 2025!
MTB Kids Skills Club

This club runs weekends during term time in 5 week blocks of lessons. Perfect for children looking to get into downhill riding or develop skills they have already obtained. Catering for all abilities* our club is run by fully qualified coaches that will help to develop your child's riding. Learning new skills and building confidence whilst having lots of fun. The sessions are run on either Saturdays or Sundays. For those looking to join the club we invite children to book a session with one of our coaches so they can assess what group they should join. All new starters must complete an assessment session. These will run in between the block of lessons and are on a first come first served basis. 417 FLYERS

This club is perfect for those that would like to just come and do laps! Kids can come and ride the bike park with a MTB coach in small groups running every Saturday at the 417 Bike Park. Groups are split into abilities* Blues (for riders who confidently ride both of our full blue trails) and Reds (for riders who confidently ride all of our full red trails)

There will be up to 6 children in each session.

Suitable for children aged 8-15 years and previous experience riding downhill trails. To participate in the Beginners sessions, children must be able to confidently ride a full blue trail.

£32.50 for a 2 hour session. Running on Saturdays and Thursday evenings during the Summer

Admission access for the rest of the day. Anyone under the age of 13 years must have an adult on site at all times.
